Zika virus, spreads mostly by the bite of an infected Aedes mosquito, can be passed from a pregnant woman to her foetus. Infection during pregnancy can cause certain birth defects such as microcephaly.

There is currently no vaccine available to protect against Zika, nor specific medicine for this virus infection.

We strive to be one of the pioneers to develop a Zika virus vaccine, allowing mothers-to-be to have a better peace of mind against any unfortunate Zika virus infection.
