Hepatitis A virus causes an inflammation of the liver and primarily spread in environments that perpetuate unsafe water or food, inadequate sanitation and poor personal hygiene.

There has been a sustained hepatitis A vaccine shortage over the last couple of years due to two major outbreaks in Europe and US, coupled with difficulties of antigen production.

We are thus developing a Hepatitis A vaccine with a high yielding virus strain using cutting-edge manufacturing platform, which can be the solution to ease such shortages.
